We firmly believe that open systems are better than closed—so we've spent the past few months building an incredibly robust and scalable API that puts you in control.

So whether you want to host your primary website on Wordpress or Webflow, or pull data into an internal dashboard—our API should open up a world of possibilities so you can build and grow how you want to.

Here are just a few examples of things you'll be able to do via our new API:

  • Add new subscribers along with any custom fields (name, age, etc.)

  • Update the subscription status of any reader

  • Display your posts wherever you'd like to

  • Pull campaign data and metrics from any (or all) of your posts

  • Retrieve data about your referral program to display elsewhere

  • Retrieve data about various audience segments or email blasts

Note: we will be rolling this out to our Enterprise users today for early access, and then to all paid users over the next few weeks as the API becomes more stable.

📈 Daily growth email

Assuming you're getting the most out of beehiiv and taking advantage of our referral program, recommendation network, magic links, popup forms, SEO optimized web experience, and 3D analytics ... you're probably growing pretty fast.

You can now receive updates that break down exactly how many subscribers you acquired AND where they came from, daily.

Just visit your Settings → Notifications (under Account) and toggle on Daily Growth Email.

🙈 Mailchimp content import

We built an all new content import tool to support those of you migrating over from Mailchimp.

The new content import tool will pull in all your previous campaigns sent via Mailchimp and have them auto-publish to your beehiiv-hosted website (but not send anything via email).

Note: you have to add Mailchimp as an integration prior to the import.
