Surveys 2.0

Surveys allow you to build forms directly in beehiiv and seamlessly collect information about your readers. Why?

• Personalized emails — address readers by their first name and utilize other custom fields

• Survey data — gather and package data for content purposes

• Segmentation — build advanced segments based on custom fields and survey responses

We also transformed how the results are presented. You can view both aggregated response data as well as individual responses.

Lastly, due to popular demand — you can now allow multiple responses so readers can select more than a single answer for multiple choice questions 😏.

Reminder: All reader responses to surveys are recorded as custom field values associated with the reader’s subscription. So, you can use these values in emails or to segment and filter readers based on their responses.

Footnotes

Footnotes are a great writing technique to provide citations and additional information without disrupting the flow of your text.

Now you can seamlessly add and edit footnotes from directly within the beehiiv text editor 🤝.

The footnotes will be rendered neatly at the bottom of emails and web posts, so it’s one less thing for you to worry about while creating content.
