Introducing: custom HTML blocks, rich-text welcome emails, additional headers, and support center

We've got some awesome upcoming updates on the horizon 🤫, but in the meantime, here are a few new features to share with you all today:

Custom HTML blocks in posts

We heard your requests to drop custom HTML directly into posts and have built that capability directly into the text editor.

You can select HTML Snippet and paste in custom HTML directly into your post, giving you additional flexibility and customization optionality. 

In the example above, we dropped a Twitter share button, which you can see rendered in a web post below:

In order to help protect your post, beehiiv takes some safety measures with your custom HTML blocks:

• Some elements such as style and script elements will not be saved, but most basic HTML elements are supported.

• Invalid HTML elements will not be saved.

• Incomplete HTML elements may be autocompleted. For example, if you forget a closing tag, beehiiv will attempt to add this for you.

Rich-text Welcome Emails

Creating fun and engaging welcome emails to welcome your new readers with hyperlinks, images, buttons, and more is now easier than ever. 

You can now utilize our rich-text editor to build your welcome email. Just click Edit under Welcome New Readers in your Publication Settings.

And you can preview what it'll look like in both desktop and mobile clients:

Additional Header Options

You can now customize the font, color, spacing, and size of 6 different header options, H1 through H6. This allows for greater customization and control over your email aesthetics.

All New Support Center

As we continue to launch more advanced features and scale the capabilities of the platform, it'll become increasingly important to create thorough documentation to assist users and help them succeed.

We've launched an all-new support center: with a foundation of documentation around our core features and settings, and the ability to file support tickets to have your issues resolved quickly and feature requests heard loud and clear.

We're investing heavily in building the best support team possible, and this is just the beginning to achieving that goal.
